I started a new mod last Monday. It is Mod F.....I only go to Mod G then I take my testing for becoming a CMA and RMA then I only have 4 more months of X-Ray and EKG and I am done! I can't wait. I really like my new teacher he is so funny. His name is Ulysses S. Grant....yes, that is his REAL name. We covered the bones last week and then this week we are doing the Endocrine system and then the last 2 weeks we are doing Male and Female reproductive system. I am looking forward to that. I got a 94 on our first test and a 100 on all of the first 3 quizzes so my average is a 96 right now! We have a quiz Mon-Wed and then an exam on Thursday.
Kelly, George's sister and Ridglea our niece got into town on Thursday from Okinawa. Rylee is 6 months older than Ridglea but they play so well together. I only have a few pictures so far because the REALLY cute pictures are on my SIL's camera.
My mom left yesterday to go back to California. The 2 weeks that she was here went by too fast. I miss her already and saying bye to her at the airport was really hard on me this time. I just feel so bad that this is the first surgery that I am going to be missing. I have faith that everything will go just fine, as it has in the past but in the back of my mind I am wondering how much can her body take?!? this will be the 4th time they are cracking her skull open. All I can do is try to stay positive and think good thoughts and leave the rest up to Him.
that is about it for now.....

Its been 2 weeks
I have had so much going on the last 2 weeks that I didn't even get around to blogging last Friday like I normally do. I was thinking about backing off a bit but I decided not to. I enjoy blogging because I enjoy writing down my feelings and documenting things that have happened. Someone on my husbands side of the family said that I blog too much and spend too much time on the internet.....to them I say, SO WHAT!?!?!?! I am making GREAT grades. I am rarely on Saturday-Thursday. Friday is MY day to get stuff done around the house and do what I want to do, like making this blog! Now that I have that off my chest I will move on......
Last week was a great and fun week for us. It was the first time in my life that I have ever seen that much snow in Texas EVER! The N. Texas/DFW area hit an ALL TIME RECORD! We got 12-13 inches of snow from the time it started to the time it stopped. George and his dad made a "red neck sled" as I call it. It was made out of a wheel barrow and and an old pair of skis! It was F-U-N!!!
My mom got here last Friday afternoon and I am so happy that she is here. She has to go back to California on the 27th for her surgery on the 8th of March. George and I went out to eat dinner last Friday night to celebrate out Valentines! We went to Gloria's (mexican food) and it was YUMMY!
This past week was my final's week. I am not sure what I got for my final grade but I am feeling confident about this Mod. I can't believe that I only have 2 more mod's before I take my CRMA testing and then I start 4 months of X-Ray/EKG program. then Im DONE (for now). I am planning on working a year or two and then furthering my education. We got a letter in the mail on Tuesday from the little girl that we were able to help from the donation to the Operation Smile. One of Rylee's birthday presents every year is a donation in her name to Operation Smile. This year for Rylee's birthday they sent her a blanket with her name monogrammed on it and also a cleft bear (the bear has a cleft lip repair also). It was so rewarding to get the letter from Arafase, an Ethiopian little girl that finally after 13 years was able to get her lip repaired. Here are pictures of the bear and blanket the Rylee got for her birthday from the foundation and also the before and after pictures of Arafase.
I am not sure what we are doing this weekend. I am planning on having lunch with my mom and my aunts this afternoon and then my mom is coming back to have a sleep over with Rylee Roo! Im sure that George and I will end up having a date night.

another week similar story
Rylee has been doing GREAT at potty training. She is 2 1/2 weeks into it and she is down to diapers ONLY at night time or long car rides. She is napping in panties with no accidents and her diapers at night have been DRY when we wake up for the last 6 mornings!!!! I am not brave enough to let her go all night without a diaper tho!!! She is still terrified to poop in the potty. I don't know what to do about that. She will stand and try to make it in the potty but she has been pooping standing up for over a year now (she has never liked poop on her butt) so it is a hard habit for her to break. If you have any suggestions PLEASE.....I'm willing to try anything. She had an accident at school yesterday for the first time in since the week we started potty training and her teacher said that she was embarrassed and crying and so mad at herself. (also her first poopy panty accident). Poor Rylee = (
I had a good week at school, for the most part. There was some drama from the end of the day on Wednesday but that was cleared up before we left school yesterday. I got a 96 and 86 on my tests this week....the chapter test was LONG and HARD!!! We had 3 diagrams of the kidneys, bladder, and urinary tract that we had to fill 31 blanks in on WITHOUT a word bank. I only missed 1 or 2 so that isn't too bad. I found out yesterday that our next MOD will be over the male and female reproductive system, birthing, birth defects, OB/GYN procedures and I am BEYOND excited!!!! This is the field that I am most interested in, followed by the cardiovascular system. ONLY 2 MORE WEEKS!!!! I have been keeping up with my workouts and I have lost another 2 lbs this week!!! I am down to 171-172!!!! My goal is 145-150 only 20-25lbs to my goal! Doesn't seem so far away seeing as I have lost 17 since the end of September!!!
This weekend we have a pretty set schedule. Tonight we are going to the driving range for $1 beers but Im not sure that I will be having any. Rylee is going to have a play date with her Grandma and Grandpa while we meet up with our friends tonight! I am so excited some girls from school might be coming tonight also!!!!! Saturday from 3-5 we have Francisco's birthday party! Sunday is the SUPER BOWL!!! GO SAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
