Busy busy busy.....

Sunday, Father's Day was a GREAT day for us. Rylee, George and I had breakfast at Estella's and then went to my dad's house. My brother, Steven and his wife and baby girl flew in from North Carolina. I had not seen my "baby" brother in over a year. He returned from a year LONG tour in Iraq at the end of May where he was reunited with my sister-in-law, Stephanie and his daughter Emma that he had not seen since she was 2-3 weeks old. BUT my most exciting moment was when I FINALLY GOT TO MEET MY NIECE!!!!!!!! I took TONS of pictures. Rylee wasn't sure about her at first but she was in love with Emma by the time we went home.
^^^ I love moments like these ^^^
Monday I started EKG. I am liking it a LOT. It is BY FAR the hardest part of school that I have been in so far and the work is 2 times more than I am used to. I am hoping to work in a cardiologist's office or doing EKGs/Stress Tests for a hospital. It is a LOT of information in such a short ammount of time. We covered 4 chapters the first week (4 days) and took 2 tests, did 2 chapters of homework and wrote a paper. This is how EVERY week will be. The tests were HARD....I got an 89 on one and a 92 on the other and those were probably the highest grades in the class! With the grades of the homework and paper though I still have a 95 average after the first week *phewww*. I was talking to a girl in her last part of EKG and like me, she had a 4.0 in all of her previous mods/classes but when she was in my mod she got her first B average. That scares me and makes me more determined to study study study. I studied from 2-9 on Wednesday night with the exception of picking up Rylee from school and eating dinner. Also on Monday, Rylee and I drove to N. Dallas to meet up with some mommies that I met on cafemom over 2 years ago!!!! Our babies are all January 2008 babies....that was FUN. There are a LOT of pictures on facebook if you are interested in looking at them.

Today i took the first of 4 refresher classes for my Medical Assisting Certification. I am taking my certification test on August 20. It is too late for me to register for the July test =(. I am so close to being done with school I can taste it *YUM YUM*

George is going to Austin for the weekend and Rylee and I are going to be spending as much time as we can with Steven, Stephanie, and Emma because they are leaving on Tuesday.

That's about it for now......

After dinner water fun

Tonight after we ate dinner, home made chicken tenderloins with macNcheese and green beans, Rylee INSISTED on going outside to play. George moved her slide to the front of the house for the evening shade and Rylee then decided that she no longer wanted to play on her slide instead she wanted to water the plants....this is how it turned out! Don't be alarmed at the bruise on her head and the swelling and green that is under her eyes. If you don't already know, Rylee had a run in with a book case at school...LITERALLY!!!! Enjoy....BTW, Im LOVING my new camera!!!! (incase you couldn't tell!)

Okay, so I HAD to throw the last 2 in there...our Tropicana's are looking good this year!!!

Rylee and Aavary

Aavary is the daughter of my cousin/sister/BFF, Heather! Heather is 9 months older than me and we ALWAYS talked about having our girls 9 months apart also....just happens that it worked out that way!!!! I'm not sure why the picture of Rylee by herself is turned but I still love it. It is not downloaded to my computer like that so IDK..... I LOVE MY NEW CAMERA THOUGH!!!!!!!

Rylee singing her ABCs

pardon the mess in the background. I am moving the winter clothes out of the drawers and the summer stuff in to them and also getting rid of clothes that I don't wear anymore.....that is the excuse Im sticking to anyways!

New Camera!

So, I finally convinced George that I needed a new camera BAD! My old camera started to take EVERY picture blurry. It was 4.5 years old and just in the last 2.5 years I have taken 8-10 THOUSAND pictures. Yea, I will admit, I am a camera junkie! I love to capture moments in our life. I knew that I wanted to get another Sony because I LOVED my old one. I looked on line and found some that would do the trick that were less than 175 because that was the limit I gave myself because I didn't want to have George get shell shock when he saw how much I wanted to spend. As you can see in the picture below I HAD TO HAVE ONE SOOOOON!
This morning we woke up and went to Fry's Electronics because they have a HUGE selection and I wanted to try some out. George and I were having fun using Rylee as our model and George came to the conclusion that the 175 price area would NOT be giving us the quality pictures that we NEED! So HE FOUND THE ONE I GOT!!!!! It is a Sony Cyber-shot DSC HX5V.  We got a great discount on it because the box had been opened....we got a new camera case and a kit kat bar and departed the store BEFORE we spent more money!!!! Here are some pictures I have taken with it so far....
Rylee is napping and when she waked up we are going out to my aunts house to spend the rest of the day with Heather, Aavary, and Aavram. I can't wait to get pictures of Rylee and Aavary with my new camera!!!!!

That is about it for now.....

Been a while

I have been sooo busy. School is still going great, my grades are still good. I am loving X-Ray but looking forward to EKG. I am counting down the weeks til I am done...10 weeks!!! (well, until I start my externship)

George is SUPER busy. But that is to be expected this time of year. Rylee has moved up to the next class room at school! Today was her first day with her new teacher and new friends. This morning was hard, she cried, I cried but I know that she is ready. Her old friends will be moving up to her class in August so in less than 2 months she will be back with her old friends. Her new class that she is in only had one girl in it for the last few months and since Rylee is fully potty trained and the oldest girl in her class they decided to move her up a little earlier than the other kids.

My cousin, Heather, her husband, Aavram, and their daughter Aavary are in town and we are going to have dinner with them. Incase you don't already know, Heather is 9 moths older than me and my daughter is 9 months older than her daughter...YES, it was planned that way! Heahter is my best friend/sister.I will be sure to post pictures once I get them!!!!
